I think Robinho was expecting to play against Bolton, and I felt at the time, and I'm convinced of it after last night, that it was a massive mistake to drop him. We can argue all night about whether it was the right decision or wrong decision for that particular game (although the result suggests it wasn't), but the fact remains that Robinho doesn't see himself as a bit part player, and if he's getting the vibes that that is how Hughes sees him, then I predict a major falling out between the two. It seems to me that Hughes struggles to understand and deal with flair/quality players, and it is going to prove his downfall in the end. Robinho needs to be made to feel that he's wanted/loved, and he doesn't get this from the current manager. I predict that if Mourinho ever gets his hands on him, the first thing he'd do would be to tell Robinho how much he rates him, and that he considers him to be the best player in the world. It's called man management, and Mourinho is on a different planet to Hughes when it comes to this.
