An old video but worth watching.

What happened to those step overs?

At Inter I always saw him as a better winger than out and out striker but recently for us I think he has shown his natural goalscoring ability. Certainly wouldn't want to waste it on the wings.

He was great on the wings at Inter, you're right. He also has a good cross on him, but we haven't seen that side of his game at City.

Crazy to think how young he was then.

mario has born as a centre-forward .
he has never been a winger , he is too lazy and lack stamina for playing there. it was that twat called josè mourinho that tried to ruin the guy playing him very often as a winger and then going to say "look , he is lazy" as if everybody already didnt knew it.

I was just saying that Mario's done well on the wings for Inter...but I wan't saying that that's his position.

He is pretty versatile and Mancini has already said Balotelli (and Aguero?) get more opportunities because he can also play as a winger. I don't think Mancini meant like AJ, but moreso because of our fluid system, it is good to have a player that can do something from wide if they receive the ball in that position.

I've noticed a change in attitude in Mario over the last few weeks. He seems far less interested in the controversial side of the game, he's just on with it.
