Mario could be in trouble again

To me, if one of our players is on a night out, doesn't drink, and gets in late, but is one of the first in to training, I don't see what the fuss is about.

I'd be more concerned about a player going through bad run of form and hitting the bottle at home, away from "prying eyes"

I don't know what game some people watched but Balotelli didn't have a bad game and on another day could have had 4 or 5 with a little bit more luck.

he was very dissappointing imo, he's paid to score goals and someone with his high standards should be scoring those 4 or 5, think he and Mancini will be dissappointed with it, but we move on, we won, we did enough yesterday.

He paid to do more than that.

He ws very unlucky with two shots and should have been given two penalties.

fair point, but he's a £24m striker so the thing that should come as a given, sticking it in the back of the net from simple chances, he didn't do.

think he works better with Silva and Aguero in there, he had a poor game imo, but everyone does at some point, we move on.

Big run of games we've got coming up, we have to keep winning.

Totally agree. My mate was berating him afterwards saying he was shite. I thought his hold up play was exceptional, and as you say on another would have scored more

-- Sun Mar 04, 2012 9:27 am --

It wouldn't have been as big a big deal if Mario hadn't looked totally unfocused today. In fact it wasn't just Mario today, quite a few players looked uncaring at certain points. They just weren't photographed at a strip club in violation of club rules.

Mancini looked really disappointed and rightly so. Hopefully a fine and not Mario on the bench again, it feels like he's barely played half the season.

Scored one, hit the post, drew two good saves, made several defensive headers and should have had two penalties.
If that's an 'unfocused' and 'uncaring' 90 minutes then i hope he continues to be disinterested for the remainder of the season.

Mario could be in trouble again

He should keep to curfew. There are reasons why they're in place.

Totally agree, lets face it A) who at that age did not break the rules (and no I do not believe you) and B) given the hardly punishing schedule Premier League footballers have how could he not have caught up on his sleep before the game? (although having seen his girlfriend I think I can answer that one myself).

Mario could be in trouble again

I thought Mario did fine yesterday sure he could of scored 1 or 2 more goals but he's 21 for god sake 21!!
