This has got nothing to do with what Balo was/wasn't doing in his recreational time - as interpreted from an undated image and associated club "fury".

If this rule does exist it's fucking retarded. As someone else has already pointed out he could have been awake in his house and there'd be no repercussions at all. Essentially he'd be punished for being out where he can be photographed instead of at home. I'd understand it if it was a 48 hours no alcohol rule but that's not an issue with Mario.

Does it matter that he's up late on a thursday night? As long as he gets rest the night before a game, which he should as they all stay at the Hilton as per usual practice, then this is a non story!

the only person in the world who should even remotely care about this is Raffaella (sp?). It's not like this happened tonight, before the game tomorrow afternoon.

If the story is to be believed, the manager should care, as a player has breached a rule set by the manager, in place for all players because the manager believes not following this policy is to the detriment of the club. Making a mockery of the managers code of conduct and naking him look weak if he doesn't act.
