Mario Gotze - Injured for Champs League Final ?

I think people are underestimating Bayern's underhandedness. To lose their 3rd final in 4 years would have been unacceptable incomprehensible. I've no doubt in my mind that Gotze was told by Bayern that he wasn't to be involved. They wanted to win at all costs and to have their new star signing play a part in them losing couldn't be allowed.

Utter drivel. So Bayern bribed all his doctors too ? AND managed to convince Dortmund's medical staff that he was REALLY injured and they never suspected a thing ?

I bet you believe that Elvis and Jim Morrison are still alive, the moon landings were faked and 9/11 was an inside job ;-)

I am Elvis!

I'd just say Mario told the doctors he still had pain. Job done. Unless the Dortmund doctors have some sort of magical pain detecting device then there would have been fuck all they could do. No need for bribes.

am i the only who thinks that all dortmund needed was 2-3 top squad players for them too really close the gap on bayern.

its just outrageous bayern buying both goetze and lewandowski.

Best buying policy possible. Strengthen whilst weakening your nearest rivals.

Sorry but the injury he has is not the sort of injury that you say it hurts and away you go. It is detectable by scans, x-rays etc.
You don't really think he just says "My leg hurts" and they give him some tablets and off he goes surely ?

He's out at least until the beginning of July and won't be available when Guardiola starts working with the team. Not clear if he was misdiagnosed at Dortmund or if his injury got worse when he started training to make the CL final.

At least it will put to rest the theories about him missing it on purpose. Hopefully he is fit for the Audi Cup!

Looks like no chance of that, he should just about be ready for the first or second week of the season.

I don't understand the accusations that had he scored the winner for Dortmund he'd have been hated from the start. If we'd have got say Tottenham in the cup final rather than Wigan and agreed to sign Bale beforehand, then Bale scored the winner for Spurs, I'd be gutted but would look forward to him playing for us rather than not accept him because of his goal.
