De Niro, the biggest anti smoking lobbyist on here won't be happy!

Seen a photo of Rooney smoking in a swimming pool, I remember when Zidane played it was a hot topic that he was a known smoker, Hamman was supposedly a packet a day smoker...

Smoking is not good for you and can hinder you as a sportsman, but there are a number of successful sportsmen who smoke and it will not hinder them at all. Smoking is something that humans do for no apparent reason. I've seen those programmes on tele where people go and spend time with native tribes in the jungle where they are not exposed to any sort of advertisements whatsoever and they have no technology so see no adverts or anything, yet they smoke. It's just something humans do.

They want to look a other men's cocks and/or smell of piss!

From Socrates to Sheringham there have been many footballers who smoke. Obviously it affect people in different ways. I've heard Usain Bolt smokes.

i'd say a lot of modern day footballers smoke and drink. They arent robots. probably not excessive smokers and drinkers cos they train and exercise everyday, but i'm sure there's a lot that do it on the sly.

All the Italian's smoke, Mancini included. It's their culture - they don't get the drinking culture here yet they all love sucking a tab down...it aint good for ya, but they are human.
