I like him.
So do I, I think he's an excellent referee. He's got stuff wrong over the years (like all human referees) but we only see that as a result of the micro analysis that's inherent with having 24 cameras and super slo mo at games. All of a sudden every fan and pundit is an expert on every decision, allowing for about a minute to review the replay of course.
He does an honest job well, and he controls players pretty well too, doesn't stand for much shit. Probably Britain's best referee at the moment.
