Well if Kyle got away with one then they’ve made up for it by being really stringent since

Plus otamendi no way fouled Kane for the free kick that led to the 2nd goal, but of course he gave one for them. And in the last ten minutes of the home game when we were looking like equalising, the linesman TWICE wrongly flagged Kun offside- when there was a strong chance we'd have gone on and scored from the move.

Wasn't there talk of Clattenburg being overheard saying to his assistants in the tunnel before the game started that he hated Bellamy and was out to get him?
Sure I read that somewhere on here so it must be true!!

Don't think it was as overt as that. From memory he was reported as saying to someone something along the lines of "how can you bear working with/playing with Bellamy".

I watched that game on the telly and couldn't believe how the lino let that go. it wasn't touch and go, or a fine line, there was 24hrs daylight between Kyle and our last man! It's that kind of decision that just makes you wonder what the officials are upto. And it's that kind of dreadful decision that just makes you think why the PL isn't adopting VAR!
