Mark Clattenburg

....as the proverbial 9 bob fucking note!

I was witness to him sending Bellamy off and since then, he has done everything in his powers to confirm the fucker is a bent cheat.

Many have said it. Make the cunts face the media after and explain themselves and why it is they fail to apply the laws of the game and instead, make them up as they go along half the time.

Crappenberg is one of those refs, and there are a handful, who make up their mind the previous Wednesday how they want the match to go, and their refereeing confirms their decision. Too many inexplicable decisions from Crapps over the years to come to any other conclusion.

calling Clattenburg bent is a dodgy thing to do

If it looks like a sausage, and smells like a sausage, and tastes like a sausage it's probably a sausage. I have no problem with anyone calling Clattenburg bent, I've been pretty sure of it for years.

If he is not bent then he is incredibly poor as a Referee. Lots of really poor decisions against City over the years.

This. I think he prolly dislikes us and so subconsciously we don't get the run of the green.
I didn't think it should have been a pen for handball or that Kompany was fouled tbh.
I think Sergio was fouled but it wasn't as blatant as I was led to believe.

I watched MOD last night and didn't really see what all the fuss was about tbh.

Think it would be better that our referees ref like European refs give everything you touch a player it's a free kick all this inconsistencies pisses me off! In a game the ref will blow for a soft foul one minute then the next he doesn't

You don't think that was deliberate handball?

To me it was as blatant as it gets. Don't blame Clattenburg for it, but the lino had a clear view.

And he thinks it wasn't a nudge on Kompany? Is your name Chris Foy?

we did not lose ok should have been 3 points shows how far we have come if we are pick holes out a away game to arsenal yes the ref did make a show of himself but we should have scored when dzeko pulled out when the keeper rushed out and the ball hit the post

calling Clattenburg bent is a dodgy thing to do and we should be bigger than that ok he may have had a bad game but before the kick off 90% of man city fans would have took the draw

What's that got to do with the price of a loaf ? Before the game we hadn't seen 2 dodgy Arsenal goals and a penalty for us turned down.

If you cannot see what is wrong with nudging Kompany in the back as he goes to head the ball,
well i don't know where to start.

Im another who doesnt think it was a foul on Kompany. If thats a foul every corner is a foul.

Then you are another that's wrong ;-) Anyway we know what goes on at corners and that's just a farce.
Think you need to watch the Kompany incident again.

I'd rather the foul on Kompany wasnt called, too soft for me. But you have to be consistent, and based on previous decisions he had given on the day it was definitely enough contact to be called a foul.

What's all this too soft, these days. It's either a foul or not. There aren't grades of fouls.
Apart from yellow and red.

I hope Declan Hill reads this Forum and is already investigating him, the corrupt twat.

Of course there are grades of fouls - you even admit it yourself.

The Aguerro one was a foul the Kompany one, if given, we might as well go down the basketball route with any contact being a foul.

It's a contact sport. Contact is allowed. So is a degree of physical handling. For me I would prefer that you are allowed to jostle with an opponent at set pieces. At some stage, jostling becomes a foul on your opponent, thats when it ceases to become "too soft" in my book.

But again, by the standards Clattenburg set in the game he had to call it a foul.

The reason why the Kompany one was a foul is that Welbeck pushes him the back just before Kompany heads the clearance. Pushing an opponent is directly listed as a foul in the laws of the game. There was no attempt to play the ball by Welbeck, it was a simple push. The intention was to prevent Kompany from getting as much purchase on the header as he would have done unimpeded. It worked.

Football is not a non-contact game, but there are laws about what you can and can't do. What Welbeck did was a foul, he got away with it, they scored.

We move on, but it doesn't mean the goal should have stood.

If that was given as a foul at the Etihad against us I think there would be quite a few groans. If the goal doesnt come after I doubt it would be in many peoples lists of Clattenburg mistakes either. Ans I dont normally criticise referees but have after that performance yesterday - it was riddled with mistakes, i just dont think that was one of them.

But yes we move on, hopefully we get the rub of the green v chelsea
