Who does the referee who claims he's an Altrincham fan, Anthony Taylor, actually support? You'l have to claim to be an Altrincham fan then mate!

I just wonder how many of the so-called 'elite' PiGMOL refs would have given that pen? If as many wouldn't as would, then it's inconclusive and it shouldn't be given.
We need to nail referees down and they should be required to explain every sending off and every penalty. Some of the sendings off and pens would be pretty obvious, but some, like the one yesterday would provide a very interesting explanation!!
You didn't need a bloody replay to tell he had his back turned when the ball hit him!!!!!Interviewer: Mark, can you talk us through the penalty decision?
Clattenburg: I thought it was a penalty but looking at the replay I clearly got it wrong and I apologise.
Interviewer: Thanks Mark
Fascinating stuff.
Referees should go in front of the camera and explain their thought process behind the decision making.
And yesterday no matter my bias towards city.
the first question would have been where did the ball strike sterling for the penalty?
Waited for his answer and then showed a video replay and say well you were obviously guessing as you were in no position to see it and it clearly hits him in the ribs first then bounced up and skins his elbow.
Make him out to be the cheater he is. If the refs got interviewed like that after every contentious decision, We'd soon see fairer games.
But as theyre very well protected and believe they're God's gift they're allowed to make teams drop points without punishment.
But we know it will never happen as there's to much money in the sport
So you consider my post as "drivel" and therefore see fit to be insulting? You need to have a word with yourself.I'm sure you're a delightful chap, well educated and holding down an excellent position; sadly, as I don't know you personally I can only really go on the evidence to hand, you posted some drivel relating to a post that I had already responded to so forgive me for appearing short.

Liar.
Naive I think, a significant proportion of these so - called journalists are pretty much on the pay roll of the traditional big clubs, they act as mouthpieces for Rags, Dippers, Arse, Chelsea & Spuds, for them to call out corruption in football would open a can of worms. The media is as corrupt as many others in the establishment (just look at how they feed out the political agenda) never mind football.Well I don't wish to labour the point but if there was a scrap of evidence pointing towards corruption in the game at this level then these very same journalists would be all over it in a heartbeat...a story like this would be career defining for any journalist and in these days of decreased 'paper sales it would be manna from heaven for the press.

Who do you support fella? Are you Clattenberg?Oh good grief, in order for the referee to comment he would need to see a replay to decide conclusively that he'd made a mistake, are people really this dumb or is it some sort of convention you're organising?
Nope. I'd just pay some Russian spy to slot the fucker........If I had several billion in the bank, I would have private detectives monitoring everything he does, people he see's, and phone conversations he has.
So you consider my post as "drivel" and therefore see fit to be insulting? You need to have a word with yourself.
happy pills , it wasnt a penalty , get over it.
Who do you support fella? Are you Clattenberg?
Surely he must have seen Sterling had his back to the ball when it was struck!
Or maybe he wasn't looking that way at all!
In fact, come to think of it, he can't have been looking at all if he gave the pen.
As for the dumb comments you can keep those to yourself.
Oh goodNo,
It was an incorrect decision, an appalling mistake, it was never a penalty in a million years and you'd have to be an idiot to argue otherwise, at no point have I said it was a pen
You're correct I am Mark Clattenburg and you sniffed me out you little raccoon you, I joined this site in 2009 and I've been playing the long game just waiting for my moment and now here it is...congratulations, you've won the internet.
I don't think it's asking too much to come and explain after a match, as a matter of course, why X or Y was sent off, and why Team A got a pen. It could be added to, so that Rigger East and Pawson could explain why the fouls on Sterling and Nava didn't warrant a penalty kick! The fact we don't have this will lead many, including myself, to think that there is something that the PL, The Farce and PiGMOL would rather leave on the pitch!
The **** would never guess in our favour though, would he. It's not his job to guess. His job is to make a considered decision based on what he actually see's. I'd even like to know what he based his guesswork on. Sterling jumped up with his back to the ball and the ball hit him in the back of his ribs. The fact the FA are not punishing Pellegrini for his post match comments makes me highly suspicious they understand just how awful a decision that was. They do not want to hang Twattenberg out to dry by stoking the already considerable fire he has lit by making the story linger on.
On the plus side I very much doubt he will be reffing one of our games anywhere in the near future given the current strength of feeling that the fucker at best guessed it was a penalty. I personally think it was more sinister than a guess....
He needs investigatingYou are absolutely right in what you say.
The chances of it ever happening though must be minimal at best, because the FA are like the Vatican at keeping their dirty washing out of the public eye, and with good reason too I suspect.
At the risk of repeating myself, yet again, I believe that there is corruption inherent in the FA and PL , along the lines of EUFA and FIFA , because of the vast sums of money involved, and the human nature of greed.
Clattenburg has had history of being in financial difficulty ?
Good. If they can't substantiate their decisions, the sooner they fuck off, the better. No, you'd see referees leaving the game in their droves for fear of being called a cheat for every single mistake they made.
A nonsense idea.
