Really, really taking to Hughes. I think it took him a while to settle into the club. He came in with Shinawatra (boo hiss) as Chairman, with all the turmoil that surrounded him and his reign of madness. Then Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan (yay) came in, and all of a sudden he's got Robinho and making bids for Kaka, so he must have wondered what sort of circus he walked into.
But obviously he's realised that he's probably the luckiest manager in the world, and that our owners are the real deal, and that there is a long and stable future ahead.
Now the dust has settled, you can see Hughes is far more relaxed, he's enjoying it. and I think we've responded to that and we're taking to him more and more.
I'll admit it, I wasn't a big fan of Hughes, up until about the Aalborg game. But definately starting to like him.
