It wasn't an even split of who backed him & who didn't, the majority backed him even a clown would admit that.
As for the strong view of mancini as a manager,i've already gone into that, he has shown enough IN THIS COUNTRY for a lot of fans to doubt him,he blew the 1st league cup semi game by his shockingly negative tactics in the 2nd half of that game & the stoke games are better left alone other than to say he said"this(the fa cup replay ) game is important but the weekend game is more important",what a stupid fucking statement for an experianced man manager in any sports proffesion to say before his side goes out to play.
The "Welsh rag twat" still stirs up the hatred i'm afraid in some people, but what he said was very fair & honest & yet he still gets stick.

I never said it was an even split and for what it's worth you have to go back to Dalglish for the last manager to win the title having managed in this country before his winning post(that was in the mid 90s)and what the hell is you want to be even more Xenophobic how about Howard Wilkinson was the last English manager thats the best part of 20 years. So I guess if you want to ignore the facts that managing in England at any level matters, when it comes to managing a top club go right ahead.

It's almost as if those that wanted him gone and Mancini in are quite worried that the new man isn't that good ( maybe not even better) .So it's better to stay in the past and keep battering Hughes.

Too early to judge whether Mancini is good enough or not, he's still using the last fella's haphazardly assembled squad - remember the mantra "judge him when he has his own players". There are certainly a few posters who seem very keen to deem Mancini a failure even though he's only been here 5 minutes, 'coincidentally' they happened to be some of Hughes' most vocal supporters so, right or wrong, it's easy to conclude they want him to fail simply out of spite, sad really.

He didn,t buy Jo !!
He didn,t buy Robinho!!
They were thrust on him as a PR excecise by Shinawatra and The Sheikh.
We are now beggining to see why he wanted Lescott so much.The lad has taken off in my opinion and putting in some great performaces of late.
However you cannot fault him with some of his better buys Given,De Jong,Kompany,Bellamy.

They gave himlots of money to spend, they wouldn't have done if they were bothered about him being their appointment or not. That was all I was saying, I was not in any way judging his transfer dealings. And whether he chose Jo or Robinho is irrelevant to the point because they did give him lots of money for signings that were obviously his. You seem unable to understand my point tbh.

De Jong is shit, all he had to do to organise the defence was to leave Toure out, Mancini's defence looks as shit as Hughe's when Kolo plays!

I still like the man and think he was the ultimate professional while at City. Never slagged refs or other teams off and came across really well.
