The final Cope Libertadores is 20th / 27th July.Great news.
Wonder how long he has been playing without a break. Not sure when South American League dates run from/to.
Is it likely that he will go/join up on the pre-season tour to China?

Good news that the deal is done. Strange that we're pulling him from the Olympics squad. Can only mean that we want to look at him in pre season rather than loaning him straight out.
I would much prefer having him & Zinchenko available as options for the first team squad along with the most viable of our kids. If we find they aren't being used, loan them out in Jan.
Having young fast skillful wild card players to put in the team or off the bench is much more exciting for the crowd & the oppo don't know them.
Loaning them out doesn't give Pep a chance to improve them.
I'd like to see Patrick Roberts recalled.
Does this signing mean Navas will be sold?
A little something from tim Vickery
Colombia coach Jose Pekerman would seem to agree – Moreno is not in his country’s U-23 squad that will shortly face the USA in a play-off for a spot in the Olympic tournament – because he has been named in the senior squad for this month's 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Of course, it is very early to pile on the praise. Moreno is enjoying that golden, fearless phase when nothing goes wrong.
He is part of a good team, a solid unit with experienced players such as Victor Ibarbo to help him. Coach Reinaldo Rueda is a youth development specialist. Everything is working in his favour.
There will inevitably be reverses ahead. No career is complete without them. The true test, always, is bouncing back after the failures.
For the moment, though, it is all triumph and glory, with the player recently declaring his aim to be better than his illustrious compatriot Faustino Asprilla.
Can he cope with the expectations that he is helping to pile upon himself? Will he remain as committed once the big money starts rolling his way?
As mentioned above, there are no guarantees but not since the likes of Sergio Aguero, Alexis Sanchez and Neymar have I been so enthusiastic about a young player.
I agree....surely it would make sense to have them stay with us for pre-season and maybe if they not ready for the 1st team squad, look to loan them out in Jan....would be nice to see them given a chance to show something before they just go out on loan for a year or two..
may I remind you what happened to Memhis Depay, and Januzaj. The rags utilised it because they were forced to and it worked in some cases - not in others.
We still not sure what Pep's plans are for Moreno.....could still be loaned out but personally I'd like to see him given a chance to stay in pre-season....If he stays and with Navas on final year of his contract, we might try to get something for thing this summer but at the moment it looks like he'll be in the squad come start of the season..
Just thinking of number of foreign players. Limited to 17 I think.
While Gabriel Jesus is great and lighting up Brazil, Moreno has been one of the best player of what's equivalent to Champions League, and a place where South American stars are born.He must not have seen Gabriel Jesus then!
