Marriage/happiness/longevity.

I know men who swear by oriental women. Chinese, Thai, Filipino. Apparently no crap to them at all.

I had a Thai cleaner once - (not sexually) she was magnificent. We used to polish my shoes as well as tidy the house. I should have married her with hindsight.

It took almost a decade for me to commit again. Being divorced at 32 wasn't the end, but it took some fixing. To commit again needed near certainty and much soul-seeking. I always believe in hope, but it does take time.

Went our for coffee this morning, and breakfast, got married.

A bit of pre-planning. No families. No friends. Nobody invited. Legal marriage at a marriage registry. No pressure. Confident "this is the way". Us Mancunians "do things differently". Felt something was missing and the now-Wife and I tied the knot. Wooden rings. Simple. Individual meetings with family and friends will follow. The baby actually arrived in January.

We both want a simpler, happy life with less pressure. Little baby Indigo Vincent will see City in good time. His mother Daisy too. She's a member of Huizhou Blues and Shenzhen Blues in China. Gloryseeker? No. Following her husband is her choice. Everything else fits.

After we were married we went to a park and looked at a footballer statue. The lesser known Hui Tang Li, born in Hong Kong but adopted Meizhou in Guangdong. Learned much today and relaxed. A great day. Lee Wai Tong information here.

Definitely going to get a sexbot when I retire..should be bang on by then

42 years married next Tuesday (18/04/81). We've been married longer than a lot of people on Bluemoon have been alive. I met her on a blind date in March 1979 - my pal was going out with her younger sister.
First meeting was at Nicholas Nickelbys ,and then onto Pips (Fennel Street) later in the evening.
3 daughters and 4 grandsons later ( and we're both retired now) and we are still together and still love each other.

Been together 29 years and married for 13 years.

Met my wife just before I went to university so changed my course to attend where she was studying.

The secret to happiness is compromise. The key to longevity is having your own time, your own space, and your own interests.

The only regret I have is that we didn’t start a family sooner, she was 38 I was 39, we only have one kid but we would have like to have 2 or 3.

Congratulations mate!!

My two exes robbed me of what i always wanted, married once for fifty plus years , still holding hands walking on the seafront , that was my dream, not two divorces because they cheated amongst other things , spoiled my life those two and put me off even living with someone else let alone getting married again, i keep men at arms length . I envy you guys , a lot
