It wasn’t a classic, but a cold, wet dead rubber was never likely to be.
But, even so, we won 3-0, capped pure dominance of our group, with only one injury that *shouldn’t* be too much of a bother moving on.
And to add to that, we saw a supremely confident John Stones, Sergio coming back and nicking a goal, and Torres continuing to look promising.
All of this whilst resting quite a few before the derby.
There’s not much to complain about for me, aside from wishing the kids had got a run out, but I am sure many will find one or two focuses of displeasure to discuss! ;-)
