Yeah, important for him to get game time to keep his morale up and also to keep him sharp in case Ederson if ever injured or suspended. Should get a few games in the coming weeks with the domestic cups coming up.

Pep giving Eddie some competition can only be a good thing.
 
We have to remind ourselves thats it's been brilliant work from Pep and the boys to have us qualified so early. Sometimes I think theres a tendancy to take these early champs league for granted. I would hate to be needing a result on the last day.

Just in: Pep Guardiola has confirmed everyone is fit for tomorrow's game against Marseille

Pep Guardiola on Sergio Aguero: "We will decide tomorrow. Maybe on the bench. Tomorrow we make a training session, see how his reaction in his body. Important is the last two, three days he was part of the group. The niggles he had in the past disappeared

Pep Guardiola: "Everyone has played a lot, like I said we will play to win. I don't rotate, I put all players in the best condition and decide the best team. There is not one team for one competition. The last few days except two/three, everyone was involved

He will play if he is fit imo. Will need his pace to defend breakaway. I like Cancelo but his defending is not as strong.
I wouldn’t risk him when there is no need.

Cancelo offers a far better threat in terms of build up play,but Walkers athleticism is very useful as you say.

I'm cool with either,in fairness.Other areas concern me more.

I’m pretty relaxed whoever he plays. We should have enough irrespective of the team he picks as long as we are clinical with chances and we concentrate hard round the breakdown. Have been impressed the last few games, we have given little away and Fulham in particular are not a bad team.
