Wonder if it's anything to do with that mad moon cult who assassinated ex Japanese PM Shinzo Abe few years ago. I couldn't be arsed doing a deeper dive but South Korean politics are an interesting topic. Would appreciate reading a local view.

The South Korean president has declared martial law across the country in a surprise television address. He has accused the opposition of controlling the parliament and sympathising with North Korea.
