There's something about this lad I really like.

He's stepped into the breach for us and will thoroughly deserve his winner's medal at the end of the season.

The abuse he was getting at the time was something terrible.

By his high standards, Vinnie has had an up and down season, whereas ''il divin' codino'' started off shakily, but has grown into his role as the season has gone on. To the point where he is an automatic starter for me, even if our other CB options are available.

Kompany has been below par for two seasons now.

He was excellent, arguably his greatest ever performance, away at Barça but pretty inconsistent over the last two years.
 
When Mark Lawrenson was on stage in City Square slagging off MDM a few weeks ago it was an absolute disgrace.

I wanted to get on the stage and chin him…..

I want to be smug! Fcuk it...

I remember saying he was solid at the back and presses high and does it well..

He's even picked up the slack when Vinny has been a little off his game...

But so many blues absolutely hated the man... I think a lot of us need more faith in the Txiki and Pellers... MDM is and has been a top class stop gap for a world class CB to come into the fold...

Hope he stays with us another year as he would be great to provide competition to Mangala (if we get him)

P.S. Mark Lawrenson is a scouse clown, nobody pays attention to him anyway!
 
Lawrenson got on the stage with the other geezer from football focus and started off being generally complimentary about City, about Yaya and Silva and chances of winning the league.

Towards the end Lawrenson then started saying we have a weak link in Demechellis, don't know why we signed him, a disaster waiting to happen and could cost us the league. Couldn't believe what I was hearing in City square that a so called pundit should be publicly slagging off one of our players. He obviously had a pro Liverpool agenda and was trying to undermine our team, shocking. He went on about MDM for 5 minutes. He should be banned from the stadium going forward.

Hopefully MDM will have the last laugh !!!
