Bobby Manc's only been in charge for 11 months!!! Think O'Neill's best days are behind him, I saw most of them!! Although this thread is hypothetical, MON is not a name i'd be looking at IF the position was to become vacant in future. Hiddink on the other hand.......!!

out of the managers available MON, gus Hiddink and Frank Rykyarrd (oh I don't know how to spell it) I must admit I don't fancy any of them

Hiddink is not available. But if he was, and we actually had a vacant managerial position, you'd be a bit of a fool not to want him. He can't be classed with the other two. Certainly not with Martin bloody O'Neill who is relatively tactically inept and in the transfer market doesn't seem to realise that football players exist outside the British Isles.

The only possible positive (and they are slender) to appointing O'Neill would be that being a guy that's generally liked by the media, and British/Irish, he would probably get the press off our backs a bit which might (if you believe it's actually a big factor that affects the team) relive some pressure.

You must be joking Ask the Villa fans what they thought of him

No. Bobby's still not been given long enough. At the end of this season, if thing are still bad then I'll join the club, but or the moment Bobby is the man for the job.
