Think the stats speak for themselves, not even the doubters can argue with that. Not many wingers in the league with better form that so far this season.

Even compared to Bellamy who has 19 starts - 6 goals and 10 assists in all competitons.

I wonder as a midfielder how his defensive stats rate?

10 starts, 1 half-arsed tackle?

Don't even get me started on the smiles to goals ratio

Every week it's a different player. They'll move onto someone else next week.

I wish people would get off his back, the stats say it all, I wish Barry had them stats as well, it's about time HE started to put some goals in.

Them stats are pretty good, if only we had 3 or 4 more with similar.

he only scores and assists. thats ALL he does ?
some city fans are gobshites, on the basis of great player = someone who tackles back,
rubbish player= ronaldo(the fat lad) romario, luis figo, roberto baggio, rivaldo and they
all have one thing in common WORLD footballer of the year, some city fans are stuck
in the 60s/70s.

if someone has played FIFa , PES , Football Manager or some sort of football game he should see that the tackling stat of the Attacking Midfielders is always lower . That is because they got other work on the pitch and that work is to attack .
Lets kick out De Jong because he can`t attack afcouse i am saying that ironic .

Petrov is pure class, people don't realise what an asset he is. He makes incisive passes, and he knows which is the right pass to make. He is also pacy attacking the flanks, can cross or cut in and score. Also looking at his passing and style he'll do very well in Europe next season.
