Petrov has done okay this season but he's been far from sensational or indeed terrible.

Think Mancini has found a formation where his lack of tracking back doesn't matter quite as much and he can concentrate on the strengths of his game.

He is a good winger, dont forget he ws our star player two seasons ago. But he was on the left!! The guy can't do anything on the right, he is so preictable every time he has to cut inside or go backwards. I would have bellamy ahead of him every day of the week though and you cannot disagree ith that, surely!

I wouldnt ever start him against the bigger teams. But , if played on the left as an out and out winger there is definitely a place for him.
Whether as a late impact sub against tiring right backs or a starter against teams sitting back i think he could have a part to play in the squad. On his day he can be the difference. But off his day he is a passenger...........sounds familiar

No problem with petrov when he is played in his correct posiition out on the left but on the right hand side he is a hinderance to the pace of our attacks as he has to cut back inside and slow everything down.....

if he deserves to play then thats fine...but play him in his correct position please MR Mancini.....he is far more effective there!
