He’s the best sports journalist by a mile, missed reading his articles until half century started to post them.Thanks for these Martin Samuel columns by the way. Always has been worth a read. Unfortunatly no longer available since leaving The Mail.

He used to work for the Mail so makes senseAm fairly sure I saw him in a very nice pub in Salford this evening,talking to what looked like another journalist,from the Daily Mail.
Most of the haters live and drink around Didsbury, Custis (Fletcher Moss) McDonnell (Crown Heaton Mersey) R Smith etc
I wanted to go and have a chat with him and congratulate him on the standard of his sports writing but thought better of it as I wasn’t 100% sure it was him,either that or he has an identical twin brother.He used to work for the Mail so makes sense
