I think they can't see past their own biases. All football journalists are football fans, and given the average age of a football journalist, the vast majority of them are going to support one of the clubs that feel like our rise has stopped them achieving stuff. It's not a coincidence that the one who is fair happens to support a team that's in a similar position to what we were not too long ago. We're also living in an age of journalism where clicks and engagement for controversial articles result in success. It's also not a surprise that the journalist that's impartial is the one that's an established figure in the industry and doesn't need to prove anything.
 
He's always been good at calling out what seems very obviously wrong and he's been spot on with FFP for years.

If I recall he was the first to call out the old coefficient system, where Arsenal kept being placed in the top pot and getting all the easy draws despite winning nothing and finishing 4th every year.

Funny you should say that. I recently watched the fifth series of The Wire and exactly the same happened with a media establishment,albeit fictional, in Baltimore.

We were fined because UEFA changed the FFPR rules AFTER we’d submitted our accounts.

Because he is fair, criticised us when due and defends us also. In all these articles they are quick to label us as cheats etc. He’s the only one that’s called out why ffp came into play and why it was wrong. If you fail to see that then you’re even stupider than I realised.
