Martinez sacked.

Pelligrini was favorite the other week but as now moved out to 5/1. They are/have been looking at Koeman

I can't think of anyone less suited to the current task at Everton. Surely Kenwright wouldn't be that stupid.

Given his performance at clubs of similar means to Everton, he may actually do a lot better there than he has with us. Although saying that I'm not sure how similar now the TV money has made everyone rich. Some managers just fare better without a team of divas to control.

I think Everton should get rid today rather than put him thru the last game at home scenario with the lap of honour etc..

cant believe they will not sack him before sunday, there will be a terrible backlash from the fans if he is still there, i expect him gone by friday night.

really cant see MP doing any better than what martinez has done, he would have a budget of less than 70% of what was available at city so therefore would need to rely on good old fashioned management skills and he has none

They've already got a tactically inept nice guy who can't organise a defence, motivate his players or form a bond with the fans. They really don't need another one!

This is what baffles me about the last few months. This has been Pellegrini's job advert, he's openly said he wants to stay in the Premiership and this was his chance to show prospective employers just what he can do. Sadly it looks like he's failed at the first interview stage, I'm sure he'll get offers from abroad but I can't see any Premiership club wanting him.

lol.all these threads come back to the topic of city,ma

with the kind of players we have at city i would expect any manager from the premiership to get a top 6 position and a handfull of managers from the championship so MP has not added anything to his CV this season except the lge cup,i think a good part of the management skills required is off the field with relationships to players and this is non existent, he'd be better disappearing off into the night to Brazil or somewhere for his own good because if he took the Everton job he'd be on his arse by october
