It sounds like it's just one doctors personal crusade rather than Government policy. That said, It was carried out by an employee of the Government on a Government detainee, so they are ultimately responsible.

Having said that, if there is ANY link back to the Administration policy makers back in Washington (Miller/Kushner, etc.), then this is up there with the Nazi's in the 40's.

Really awful. Not totally surprising though after seeing forced/unconsented sterilisations on different ethnic groups in China and Israel. That said, actual surgery and removing a woman's womb feels somehow like an extra level of evil.
