Massive dilemma.

True Story which I`ve told before on here.

My daughter was getting married to a rag from Scunthorpe so she asked me to go with her, her fiance, his mum and dad and my wife to look at the wedding venue. The date was 23rd of October 2011. Of course I said I couldn`t as it was the day of the Manchester derby at Old Trafford. My daughter explained that they would find a pub along the route so I could watch the game but pleaded, "please be be on your best behaviour".

After going to see the venue and a the lovely church at Whitewell

We stopped at the Wheatshief in Whitchurch.
We sat down to watch the match Me and the wife who were City season ticket holders, my daughter who hates football and her fiance and his mum and dad all no going rags.

Although I grinned like the Cheshire cat I didn`t go over board with the celebrations, Well not until Edin hit the back of the net for the 6th. I then found myself stood on the table screaming GET THE FUCK IN !!!.

I`ll remember that day and where I was for the rest of my life like it was yesterday.
Brilliant! :-)

Glad I seen p!nk on the Thursday now, though I did sack off Annie in Liverpool - I lost my money but do I care, do I balls :-)

Just want to say that I'm the partner of the OP.
The tickets were bought last year and when I told him the date of the CL final, when we got to the QF's, he was pretty horrified to be fair.
He has been a Pink Floyd fan for years.

I know how much the gig meant to him, so decided he could make the call. I was in Spain visiting my friend midweek, hoping and praying he would choose City. Would I have forgiven him if he had chosen the gig? Of course!!
But I'm bloody glad he didn't ;-)
