It isn't that simple though, we probably need 7 to leave to bring in 3. Problem is which players we want to leave other than KDB is only about a third of the decision, the other 2 thirds are down to clubs wanting the players and the players wanting to go to the clubs that want them.

That would be just 2 homegrown and 1 U21. Losing Walker, Grealish, Stones and Ake from the home grown list.
I'm not sure we would lose all this summer.
Only Carson is in the Homegrown list and he'll probably go anyway.

At the moment I don't think we can consider Khusanov as a right back. If we're playing a dominant left winger then he can play there because we have seen that his defensive game is very good. Khusanov will either be a right sided centre back, or he will have to work a lot on his attacking game to play at right back.
I agree with this sentiment 100%, it’s just hard to envision Stones in particular recovering to such an extent that he manages to string even 10 successive matches together without breaking down.
