Match-day revenue and Covid 19

I don't know mate but I've seen headlines trumpeting their tickets sales e.g. https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spo...erton-season-tickets-record-renewals-18696860 I expect that they are in a minority who have season ticket offers.

Covid-19 will be done soon, I'm pretty sure. Cubs need to plan what they are going to do.

Even with reduced capacity selling season tickets at the moment does not guarantee you a seat unless on the season ticket they say you will get 19 games even if it takes 3 years for you to use it? That could be a way ahead I suppose?!

Has there been any news on whats happening with season tickets for the coming season? My direct debit usually re starts in July i think and presuming they didnt take it.

Nope nothing only that city will keep us updated when something happens regarding that.

Could fewer/no fans in the stadium lead to an increase in revenue for $ly and BT and therefore not effect sponsors revenue and revenue from tv rights?

Saved me looking this up for myself Marvin but I'd make one minor point, which is that net debt is a poor way of looking at debt. United's actual debt is double the net debt at their 2019 year end. All net debt means is gross debt, minus cash balances at that particular date.

But it's clear from that that matchday revenue is about 11% of our overall income whereas it's closer to 20% for the others, so will hurt them proportionately more. Who'd have thought our vast swathes of empty seats were actually a financial benefit?
I am doubtful about net debt in football clubs. To arrive at the figure, account is taken of certain assets which are "easily realisable" in the short term such as CDs. Fine. I have done no research but am mildly surprised when UEFAs benchmark report shows very low net debt for Barca and Real when we know that their gross debt is enormous. Does anybody know what liquid assets these and other clubs have taken into account to arrive at the net figure?

Covid won’t be gone for another full season imo. Selling season tickets seems like a pretty mental thing to do.
A device to raise money? Unfair on fans. However, over the course of next season we'll likely get an all-clear and clubs will have to decide what to do.

Fewer season tickets mostly. They have 25k compared to our 40k. Single match tickets sell at something like a 20% premium to season tickets. Plus their pricing structure is different to ours, with one price per block, regardless of the opposition. So the games versus the other top 6 clubs at Anfield (plus Everton) will be cheaper than our games against the other top 6 clubs. But the other 13 games will probably be the same or more expensive.
Question. Are season ticket sales not counted as matchday revenue?
