I’ve just seen the highlights.

A brilliant cross and a great header for the first.

A slice of luck for the second.

But wasn’t Iman very composed for the winner? She took her time and picked her spot, when it would have been so easy to panic and fluff the shot.

My fave bit about the first is how Casparij is a few years behind Fujino when Fujino makes the pass. She just passes the ball into empty space knowing the runner will be onto it. Feels like theres a good understanding amongst the players already.

Yeah, I noticed that too.

I've lived in the area for 70 years and I beg to differ. I have loads of relatives in Leigh and none hate Wigan. They may moan Wigan gets preferential treatment from the council, but that's it. There are lots of Wigan Warriors fans in both Atherton and Tyldesley as well. Even some morons support the latics.

WHat you also have to factor in is that it's almost straight after the game that this interaction happened. So she's gone on that platform and searched out her name to see what people are saying about her. She wasn't tagged in the post and I doubt she follows City fan accounts.

I’m far more bothered about the on-field behavior, which was quite pointed, than the after-game flex against a large fan/blog account (which I found almost funny). I’m sure someone pointed it out to her and she had the pic at the ready!

Talking of Casperij, on 45mins she got taken out by a blatant body check by their left back Katie McCabe, in the box, which should have been a penalty and a yellow. Just played it back. It’s clear as day. She’s got a nasty streak McCabe. It’s no wonder Casperij went down.
Officials completely ignored it. Shocking.

I don't mind her, I think she is a good player and whilst I am not on social media I do get players posts sent to me from friends but I never see anything disparaging from her. She appears to get a lot of stick just because of who she plays for.

I quite like Ella, even though she seems a bit bonkers !
