Last night I watched the Netflix documentary on the NBA referee who was done basically for match fixing, after seeing the Mendy incident today I’m more than convinced it’s happening. The Netflix documentary highlighted how certain teams, stars were favoured by the organisation and this was highlighted to the referees and nit to give bigger decisions against them (Michael Jordan been one). It also hoghlit how referees relationships with players and managers had a huge influenc, so although he denied he didn’t fix any matches his actions effect did. I’m sure in years too come things will come out.
