Agreed; it was an awful challenge. However; it's not a player's job to go trying to get another player booked. Leave it to the referee. If the ref fucks up, so be it. But it's his job to ref the game, not the players.
 
Three defeats by November is a pretty poor return by rag standards. They'll have lost nine or ten games by the end of the season if that keeps up. And if they lose RVP for any length of time, the chickens will well and truly come home to roost. The media will studiously ignore this.

Has anyone lost 3 by November and still won the league?

I've been praying for Opta to come out with some similar stat, or even "No team unbeaten on match week 12 top of the table hasn't gone on to win the league" or something! Anything!

Edit: Yes, I know United have never thrown away an 8 point lead from that position before ;)
