Match of the Day - 2014/15

FWIW. Aguero's was a cracking goal, but i preferred Fernandihno's. The best goal of the lot
was Barkely's imo. Its just down to preference and i wouldn't get to upset over who wins goal of the month.
It doesn't count for anything.

Pretty appalled with the highlights of the City/Everton match on Saturday. Shouldn't be surprised I know, but the MOTD package painted a totally different picture of the game than the one I watched at 3pm!

Well, I'm shocked, qr! Those BBC editors work tirelessly to present a programme that truly reflects . . . . . No, I don't believe the shit I've written!!

Would have said Barnes personally. But, as you say, down to preference.

I loved the analysis of the Rags. They were desperate to show how the tactic of lumping the ball to the Spitting Elbow (S.E) didn't work. They said it didn't work because the three midfielders did not 'box' him ! It was explained that meant standing close enough to him to pick up the knock downs when he won a challenge. They then went on to show four clips from the match where S.E. jumped and challenged for the ball, in three of the challenges the Southampton defender casually headed the ball away totally unconcerned about what S.E. was doing.

So not only was the tactic not working because the 'box' men were nowhere near him but it wasn't working because S.E. didn't have the ability to win the ball in the first place. A fact that appeared totally lost on the pundit.

I think we'd agree knobheads kick would be bottom of the pile.

Thought Barton got a nice sly dig in by saying about butthead, 'if he's some kind of Supercoach he needs to sort a plan b out.' Or words to that effect, made me laugh anyway.

I heard and laughed at Barton's dig but I disagree with him. TT has sorted Plan B out, Plan B is kick it up to the Spiting Elbow, his problem is he hasn't got a plan fookin' A !
