That's the first time I'd seen that Rooney goal, very underwhelming. All the commentary and pundits had been making out like it was some world class, goal of the season, when it looks more like a bog standard shot from the edge of the box? It's a decent goal, but the sort you see 4 or 5 of every week in every league in the world.

What do you expect when Riley is their head and Webb their technical director? Two refs flagged as bent and who had to be removed from front line refereeing.I've just said in the post match thread, when you think about Dean's 'performance' last night and then consider he's probably the best of them, its a shocking state of affairs.

I know, its terrible when you hark back to David Elleray and Graham Poll as some sort of bastions of the rule book and fairness... fucking shocking it really is.
