Thought the coverage of our match was fair today. Good analysis of the Ferns from Danny Murphy.

Surprised they all said no penalty to Sterlings tackle, but fair enough. Personally thought Otamendi had a good shout for a penalty when Rooney stopped him from poking in at the end but no one seemed to pick up on that.

Seemed fair in their analysis tonight.

And speaks volumes of how we can be hard to break when MOTD said their first shot on goal came on the 86th minute. The highlights of the first half also had us with having more goals coring chances. And if Bony had seen the Navas unmarked run on the right instead of KdB's marked run we would have had a much better counter.

If that had been Mario instead of Rooney, it would definitely have been a penalty. I thought Rooney was lucky there to get away with it.
