"He's an artist...with a paintbrush....on this canvas"
"If he uses that fucking paintbrush analogy again, I sw..."

Keown - "Silva and De Bruyne are almost like paintbru..."

"Oh for fuck sake"

The old Wenger excuse.

Just confirms what we all know, Media City is invested with them and they will go out of their way to defend the Rags. Makes Lineker and co look complicit. Saying no one saw it is frankly laughable..... it was shown on virtually every angle of the goal. To not discuss it just shows how bent it all is. Can you imagine the wall to wall coverage if it was Aguero...

Everyone keeps saying MOTD will be 'the usual', meaning they won't give us any credit, will unfairly edit the highlights and will be critical of small things we do. To be honest, I just don't see it. I think they've been very fair on us, especially this season, for the most part. Even praising Pep and Sterling for about four minutes last night.

They'd certainly look complete fools if they didn't give us any praise after the performances and stats !

Totally agree with your comments.
Lineker saying no Sunday papers mentioned it is very suspicious allied to the fact that both MOTD and Sky initially chose to ignore.

Says everything you need to know about the media agenda in this country... surpressed until the fans (Brighton & City) managed to gain some traction on it and they were forced to give it some attention. Nowhere near the level of the Aguero non elbow I might add on Reid

Surely the bastion of truth that is Duncan Castles was keen to point out Lukaku's transgression?

Because they don’t have any analysts, production assistants or backup of any description...

Lineker is a tool to come out with that crap it's basically saying not one so called expert pundit saw it on the show and if that's the case their not fit for purpose when in reality we all know they saw the incident and chose to ignore it.

Are they bats? Yer only needed partial sight. No analysis needed, no expertise needed. It's under the Axminster!

The old Wenger excuse.

I can't see Tweets at work, but I presume this is Jug Ears saying he didn't see it?

I sent a complaint to the BBC yesterday morning to complain about their biased lack of coverage of the incident. I am still awaiting an answer.

No doubt they will claim that they didn't see it (all the pundits, camera operators, editors, presenters etc; didn't see something which was blatantly obvious in real time, never mind zoomed in slow motion).

If that is the reply I get, I will be contacting OFCOM. Let's see how impartial they are.

Didn't notice it? What a load of bollocks. The stream I watched (Andy Townsend on NBC, I think) even mentioned it as it happened and pointed out that the Brighton players were protesting to the referee afterwards. If players are protesting, you'd think someone would question what they might be protesting about. Laughable to claim that no-one saw it.

To be fair, I searched for Lukaku on Twitter during and after the game, and any mention of the incident was drowned out by rags complaining about how shit Lukaku was.

So motd2 Sunday evening not aware either?

Would have been great opportunity to bring
new news of an incident that they missed &
failed to include on their Saturday night slot?

No....Nothing to see here..... just move along

More love from the MOTD mob tonight, particularly Wright. Praising the way we kept patient and didn't resort to lumping the ball into the box in the last few minutes, quoting A&E as an example of lumping the ball forward.
