Let's be honest if someone had fouled Aguero or Jesus the way Kompany fouled Vardy, we would have screamed for a Red too.

I can see why some are saying red but Stones was close enough to have at least put pressure on Vardy, so not quite: "through for a one on one with the keeper no question" as Shearer put it he'd have Stones breathing down his neck on his way to even reaching a shooting position which was some distance away.

We had a much better shout when Jesus was brought down at Bournmouth, nobody else was anywhere near it, that would have made a red there hard to stomach. If refs were consistently giving reds for those they'd have a better case to make a fuss about it but that's not the case at all.
