I can only relate that tune to "if I had the wings of a sparrow..."Very good old blue, very good. Some (mostly the younger generation) will not understand it.

Bloody hell crazy you`re going back a fair few years.I remember that when I used to sit in the old Platt Lane Stand in the mid 1960`s.I can only relate that tune to "if I had the wings of a sparrow..."
I am 70 in 3 weeks and go back to 1959 in watching City, so, yes, I know all the old songs.Bloody hell crazy you`re going back a fair few years.I remember that when I used to sit in the old Platt Lane Stand in the mid 1960`s.
There was! the bastards left him lying in a pool of blood and then, guess what, they actually laughed about it all the way home.if only there were one brave man willing to try and take them alone
Ah you`re about 8 months older than myself but my first live game at City wasn`t until 1964.I was however supporting the Blues since 1961/62 when my neighbour signed for them.Someone called Glyn Pardoe.Ever heard of him ? ;)I am 70 in 3 weeks and go back to 1959 in watching City, so, yes, I know all the old songs.

Glyn used to take me to some home games when he was playing centre forward in those days.As a then 13 year old travelling in the same car as a City player was just unbelievable.I was the Branch Chairman of the Mid Cheshire SC Branch up until this season and we had Glyn at one of our Q & A Sessions.Another City player whose career was wrecked by a Rag.
Slightly! He's got a cousin as well, I believe.. Name something like yours? ;-)Ah you`re about 8 months older than myself but my first live game at City wasn`t until 1964.I was however supporting the Blues since 1961/62 when my neighbour signed for them.Someone called Glyn Pardoe.Ever heard of him ? ;)

Was at the match when that liver thief broke Glyn's leg. Chinned my brother after the game for a comment he made - my dad never said a word!
