Chelsea v City was
Chelsea v City was the biggest game of the season so far and should have been first on irrespective of score etcChelsea v City was
I'm sorry you feel that way because some of our play as we dominated the first half, hardly giving Chelsea possession of the ball was outstanding, the press was up to Barca standard from a few years ago. If goals are the only criteria for a great performance Norwich should be on every week as they tend to get tonked.
We were well undercooked by way of prep v Spuds, Chelsea have the most stubborn and well organised defence probably in the world. We dominated them and fully deserved the win but I wouldn't have been completely unhappy with a draw. To me, the biggest factor was the performance and just like last season we've laid down a marker, let's see how the others respond. Those goal thingy's you talk about, we've scored plenty this season.I wanted us to make our dominance pay in the first half, what's wrong with that FFS?? Think back to Spurs, we dominated the first 20 mins or so in a similar manner but didn't score and ended up losing. Goals are rather important, you know.
Yep, if it was Rags v Dippers in 7th and 8th it would still have been on first.Chelsea v City was the biggest game of the season so far and should have been first on irrespective of score etc
Champions v Champs league winnersChelsea v City was the biggest game of the season so far and should have been first on irrespective of score etc
That was just his opinion. He can't really argue with the evidence to the contrary presented yesterday. He was 100% convinced Chelsea were too good in every department and would win convincingly at 12pm on the radio this morning.
That's where we differ, after that level of dominance I'd have been disappointed with a 0-0.We dominated them and fully deserved the win but I wouldn't have been completely unhappy with a draw.
