I think Phil Parkes at QPR was always known as the "4th choice " England Keeper in those days too..And to think at one time we had Shilton, Clemence and Corrigan to choose from.....

I saw some stats this week comparing Steve Bruce and Benitez's record over their respective 2 full seasons in charge at Newcastle.
Both achieved 90 points with Bruce winning 23 games and Benitez winning 24 games.
Bruce was vilified yet Benitez is lauded over at St James Park
I like Michah but he has had to up his game now that Nedum also has a BBC gig! But for injuries they could have been a fantastic defensive pairing for us (as they were in the youth team).
