We struggle in midfield for KDB doesn't help us to control games when he is supposed to play in midfield. If Gundogan is fully fit, it was probably a mistake to not start with him. KDB plays more as a forward than as a midfielder. And does little when he loses the ball. 3 games over 6 days is a bit too much for him these days.

Walker, Gundo and Grealish are good options from the bench.

After the last match Pep said something really interesting that I don’t think many caught on to. When asked about Foden in the false 9 he said we played 2 false 9s and praised KDBs work there. While I’d have loved to see KDB track back after that giveaway I am not sure he should take as much grief as he is taking about abandoning his midfield responsibilities
