A tepid display. Shape needs to change. Started well but after Arse started to get through the middle, City started to brick it.

Lack of movement up top. Loads of players out of it. Personnel change may be needed.

Was Gundogan on the pitch? I know lots of our players have been wank but Ilkay was doing his usual trick of hiding from the ball.

May be an unpopular opinion but Mahrez and Walker are an absolute shambles down that right hand side. Mahrez far too often has one good game followed by 10 bad his time is running out for me. Walker consistently has brain farts and looks like a rabbit in the headlights when playing against someone with any positional nouse at all. Aubemayang purposely pulls into Walker for the goal because he knows he is an airhead.

Are we really favourites for the CL?

I don’t know what’s gone wrong this season but this is a shadow of the side that won the league 2 seasons in the bounce. I don’t see how we solve this in time for next season. It’s just all too slow and sloppy at the back.

Whatever odds Madrid are of progressing, it’s worth a few quid on this evidence.
