WTF was Laporte doing there. One bit of defending to do the whole fucking half.
Should be over the hill and far away, instead we've given them hope. Gabby has had Oddjob on toast. Keep running at him and he's a walking red card, him and El fanny.
 
We have nobody who can take a game by the scruff of the neck anymore and start dictating play. We drift in and out of games our midfield just isn't good enough these days. Too many meh players who just don't do enough. Bernardo, Rodri, Mahrez for three. Pep has to seriously look at making big decisions on these three at the end of the season before their stock falls further. I just don't see us kicking on unless we upgrade them. I don't care if they all score in the second half my opinion remains the same.
 
Timing and selections just not going for Pep this year, his tinkering was always on point but for nigh on 14 months it’s just not gelling... players naturally have to take responsibility, especially in the attacking 3rd but fuck me, we just can’t find a groove which is disheartening with the quality we have...

I keep waiting for us to hit the nitrous but it’s like we have flooded the engine and can’t put the finger on it..

I do know that despite all the shouting about ‘this’ player is a leader or ‘that‘ player, we have some major shortfalls on how it is communicated on the pitch... when we lost vinny we lost more than a centre half, who is rallying those players on the pitch?
