Because we are playing away in the premier league you numpty.

and there's me thinking top teams go away and win fairly comfortably in the league...

We lost here last season but won the league. what gives ?

the fact we should have that fresh in the mind and put in the performance of...I dunno...champions?

2 or 3 slips in a season...fine, but that's Roma, Stoke and you could argue Arsenal from that position that we've slipped up in, and the performances are nowhere close to where they need to be.

I hope they come out with a rocket up their arse and nail it second half, but I'm not filled with confidence based on this season so far.

Yaya is the conductor of the team, constantly coming and getting the ball deep and moving it, but if he's playing like this then it just slows us down. He's got no dynamism at the moment, slow on the ball, passing it backwards and poorly and never driving forwards. We need to get him to up the tempo, or get off the pitch.

Yaya driving me potty, he's so off his game.

Villa will be fucked after all that pressing, we need to come out of the blocks quickly.
Hopefully, but I'm not convinced. They've been quite selective - and clever - in when they've pressed. The longish spells we've had of slowly and aimlessly shunting the ball around at the back will have given them ample time to recover.

Play with more urgency and intensity and we'll run in two or three at least. Carry on as we did for the first 42 minutes or so and it could go either way.

Don't know which match some of you are watching. That was some of the most intelligent football we've played in midfield all season (and yes, that includes the wins). Silva is God. Edin's doing some good hold up work and lay-offs. Jimmy's doing some really useful stuff. Only thing missing is Kun who, for once, looks strangely slow. Villa good on the break, but I don't think they can keep up this workrate. We're making them chase the ball all the time. It'll come. . .
