You may well take the piss but there's no room in football for sentiment. Should this run continue, it's not about winning anything, it's about arresting this frankly horrifying slump and finishing in a respectable position in the table.
Couldnt care less if we finish 4th or 9th, we either win or we dont. Pep is a serial winner that has proven that he delivers trophies if the squad is good enough. Before considering getting rid of the manager with the highest trophy/season ratio in world football, give him a squad good enough to compete for trophies. This one clearly is not.
 
Plenty of warnings for Cash going through Grealish before a yellow.
Rico gets yellow for first soft touch.
Onana stands on fodens ankle, no yellow card.
4 minutes extra time even with a goal and forty seconds of it was a substitution.

The point I was making is that, irrespective of what we believe on this forum (and I didn't call for Pep's head incidentally), owners frequently have a hair trigger when things turn to shit. Nothing would surprise me.
