The only things I've heard here are drop into a deep low block or play the kids. He's been tweaking the team constantly since the crisis, some out of necessity and some to try and squeeze space. But ultimately his football is based on dominating the ball and playing as close to the opposition goal as you can do.
And being able to recover the ball quickly when losing it - which the players he picks aren't able to do. His selections and strategy have exacerbated our weakness to transitions, despite it being the thing he fears the most.
Against Arsenal away last year (22/23 season), we ceded possession to defend deep and go longer as they were man to man. Pep is able to change his strategy to make us more difficult to beat. Currently, the players don't look comfortable or capable of playing how Pep wants us to play.
