True. The lack of physicality in our youngsters is understandably apparent. They appear quite coltish.

Did we take a different route with youth recruiting to the likes of Chelsea for example, who iirc just seemed to look for specimens. Ball control and touch seem to be No 1 priority for us which is hard to argue with, though I guess ideally you want both.

We do look a lot less physically fit. Our defence and midfield is normally a lot stronger. Our second string obviously not up to the standard of the players they have replaced. Come on, let's have a goal to give the fans in our shirts in the ground.

What do you want people to say? An observation doesn't instantly make you a "flapper". I know friendlies don't really mean fuck all but to me this kind of tells me our squad depth ain't quite up to it. A couple more need bringing in definitely.
