No mate, it shows players ticking over in 2nd gear, getting up to speed and gaining fitness and sharpness.

Best defence in the league last year for a reason and to describe players performances in that first half as "shambolic, shameful and disgusting" sums up the matchday forum and its band of FIFA playing loons to a tee!

All useful data this. If we play a high line with Richards and Kolarov going forward, the back two have to be absolutely rock solid, and we probably need a defensive mid as well. Lescott is half the player without Kompany, we already know that, hopefully Pellegrini does too now. Pre-season's about learning lessons so you don't make those errors during the season.
