We've done reasonably well up to a point. The real weak links are Nasri and Milner who keep giving the ball away when Sagna and Kolarov are already ahead of them and out of position. If it wasn't clear already, Dimichelis should never be playing at this level. Totally out of his depth. Ref has been a homer (again).

Is there competition with regulars in here to see who can come out with the most outlandish comments? Be warned we are getting sick of some of the shit being spouted in here

Bit RAWKish mate. Is it against the CoC to spout shit now?

Needs must at the moment to many people using this thread as a sounding board rather than it's sole intention, to discuss the game, it's putting decent posters off
we used to it tbh, but you should know city people have passion in a plenty, and sometimes passion can get a grip, not defending stupid comments, but its part of city life imo.

i get me coat :)

Depressing half. Our players said we can learn from Schalke, PSG performances. Well...

Its a very easy training game for Barca who could be angry not being at least 3-0 up so far. They must be laughing at our tactical gameplan. They have harder job vs lesser Spanish teams sometimes.

Barca don't really start playing until the CL gets to the knock out stages. They have now.

Well this game will prove to be pivotal in 2 ways.... it will highlight we have some way to go in order to improve in Europe, and it will also highlight who has come to the end of the careers at our club

Hey, let's just honest, they're better than us.

Slightly.

They are ridiculous, I don't know if it us being utter shit at back or they're ven better to watch than Guardiola's team. Pep's Barca used to be boring at times, this one has much more options and fluidity with Neymar and Suarez.

I used to look forward to corners. now my heart sinks. Everyone just stands still and 'waits' to see what happens. We've been properly broken as far as tactics are concerned.

It's nowt to do with tactics. They are just sharper to the ball, their passing is crisper, their running off the ball quicker.
We need to apply more pressure and all this we need to retain the ball better, well they need to start pretty sharpish.
Nasri has been abysmal and Milner is struggling to get hold of the ball. Toure is sauntering at Toure's pace.
That's 3 of our midfield that need to step up. No wonder Barca can do their party tricks.

did people actually think we wernt going to be up against it with their forward line.it was always going to be tough but just our luck we catch messi at his best
