Honestly shocked that people can complain about the ref when Bayern should have had a pen and a red card for Hart in the first minute. The ref made a mistake there and he made a mistake when he thought Dzeko fouled Gotze, but on the balance City are the ones that have gotten off very lucky.

Referees in Europe are as bad as the PL. Not a foul by Djeko, not even sure a foul by Kompany who was defending himself from the Bayern player jumping into him. Bayern getting away with multiple fouls with no yellows given. While not as bad as the disgusting officials for Barcelona. Real Madrid and Ajax, at best it's been a case of him making the wrong decisions for us and we're just lucky he's made same correct decisions 'in our favour'.

This is why i'm not bothering to go to any CL matches this year, the level of refereeing over the past few seasons has been shocking.

Midfield needs to be changed thats where they start create their chances. Their movement between our defenders is very good but they can get those great passes too and we dont do enough to stop those passes. Fernandinho in middle alone not enough but its not surprise. Milner-Fernandinho both should have started in the middle and maybe Yaya too even if just ahead of them or come back sometimes to help out. Because now he sometimes helps out but other times he just watching Fernandinho doing all work alone.

We let them passing about 40 meters from the goal but as soon as they come closer we need to track them closely, press them, tackle them etc.

If Pelle doesnt make a sub at HT I will be really surprised.
