I played most of my life and I can say there was absolutely no reason for his arm to come back out once he tucked them. He can spin with bringing it out (only on the side the ball is going by, the other one stayed tucked, by the way… funny that).

Beyond that, spinning is not required and was his choice to do.

He's got pace but against the bayern wingers as they are right now, will destroy him 1v1. Also, there was a stat that shows amongst the defenders in the prem, walker is the worst in 1v1's

Having watched all the games, I guess it's just a strange way of them of measuring this. Walker wins almost all 1vs1 situations when behind center line in defensive area. In fact the only time this season he lost a 1Vs1 battle it was against France against Mbappe once.
I guess they count when he is in front and he tries to attack, loses the ball and makes a desperate tackling to correct his mistake, where indeed he loses many of them but this doesn't count.
